When it seems like the world is saying it’s “just sex” and that there is no sense in waiting until marriage, it can be hard to discern what to do as a Christian. Does the Bible really say to wait until marriage for sex? If so, how far is too far? What if I’ve already had sex but I’m not married yet?
As Christians, we are called to be generous, compassionate, and selfless. Because this is a call for all believers, sacrificing doesn’t just start when you sign the marriage license. It is something that must be cultivated in your life way before that day because marriage requires greater daily sacrifice than most things.
You are bound to fight in a marriage. Maybe it’ll be rare, or maybe it’ll be more frequent in different seasons of life, but it is inevitable that you will have disputes in a marriage, so you must learn to fight well. If you learn to fight well now, it will carry into your marriage.
Dating is an evaluation process for marriage and as Christians, we are called to submit to our husbands. While this is a command specifically for marriage, intentionality with whom you are dating is where it all begins.
